Link paused in their scrubbing and gave the Horned Statue a pointed look. He supposed it was rather obvious, and reformed his question.
"Why are you doing this?"
They may have had some serious amnesia, but Link wasn't stupid. They knew that the Horned Statue's powers could be seriously dangerous and easily abused. If the goddess Hylia decided he had to do penance as a statue, well, they weren't gonna question that.
"If I'm gonna let a spooky statue mess around with my health, then at least you shouldn't be covered in moss and bird shit."
